Detailed Payment Terms
Payment and Warranty Terms
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for the entire stay and any additional services (extras) must be made no later than the time of departure.
- The hotel reserves the right to require a guarantee in the form of a credit card preauthorization or a deposit of [%] at the time of booking.
- We accept the following forms of payment: cash (in CHF), foreign currency, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and common electronic payment methods (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- In the event of a late payment, the Hotel Bristol Geneva reserves the right to charge reminder fees as well as late payment interest at the statutory rate of 5% per year (Art. 104 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

Liability Regulations
Hotel Liability
- The Hotel Bristol Geneva is liable for damages caused to guests in accordance with the legal provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (Art. 487 et seq. CO regarding hoteliers). However, its liability is limited in the event of property damage to items brought by the guest, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the hotel.
- The hotel assumes no liability for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings left in guest rooms or public areas.
- The guest is liable for any damage caused by him or her, his or her companions, or his or her pets to the hotel’s property, furnishings, or premises.

Legal basis
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions and any contracts entered into pursuant to them are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
- In the event of a dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is assigned to the competent courts of the location of the Hôtel Bristol Genève’s headquarters, subject to any mandatory legal remedies provided for by law (particularly with regard to consumer matters).

Any complaint made after the customer’s departure must be submitted to us in writing within a reasonable time (recommended: within 30 days after the end of the service).
